Privacy Policy

Epix Studios Inc. (“Epix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at www.epixstudios.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what limited information is processed when you visit the Site, book a call, or engage us as a client, and who processes it. We keep this short because the Site is deliberately simple: it has no forms and no user accounts, and it does not collect payment details through the Site itself. Billing happens separately, as part of a client engagement (see section 3).

1. Who we are

Epix Studios Inc. is a company incorporated in Delaware, United States. You can reach us about this policy at hello@epixstudios.com.

2. What the Site collects

The Site does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not ask you to create an account, submit a form, or enter payment details. The information described below is processed by the third parties that help us deliver the Site, in the ordinary course of serving a web page to you.

Hosting (Vercel): The Site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard server access logs — including your IP address, browser user agent, and the URLs you request — to deliver and secure the Site.
Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics): We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It records aggregate page-view and referrer counts. It sets no cookies, uses no advertising identifiers, and performs no cross-site tracking.
Fonts (Adobe Fonts): Our primary typeface is served from Adobe Fonts (use.typekit.net). As a consequence of serving the font files to your browser, Adobe receives your IP address and records aggregate font-serving telemetry (p.typekit.net). Two further typefaces are served directly from the Site itself, so displaying them makes no request to Google or any other third party.
Video (Vimeo):Portfolio case films are embedded from Vimeo (player.vimeo.com). When a page containing an embedded film is displayed or the film is played, Vimeo may set its own cookies and collect playback analytics in accordance with Vimeo’s privacy policy.

3. When you contact, book, or engage us

Booking a call (Cal.com):When you choose “Book a call,” the Site loads Cal.com’s embedded scheduler or takes you to cal.com. Any details you enter there — such as your name, email address, chosen time, and any optional notes — are processed by Cal.com and delivered into our calendar and email. This is governed by Cal.com’s privacy policy.
Email: If you email hello@epixstudios.com, we receive your email address and message through our email provider, Google Workspace.
Billing (Stripe):If you engage us as a client, we bill for our work through Stripe — by card or by issued invoice — or send invoices you pay by bank transfer. When we do, Stripe processes the billing and payment information involved (such as your name, billing contact details, and payment method) as our payment processor, in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy. This billing is part of a client engagement; it does not happen through the public Site, which never asks visitors for payment details.

4. What we do not do

We do not use advertising trackers.
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
We do not use cross-site tracking cookies, and the Site sets no cookies of its own.

5. How we use information

We use the limited information above only to deliver and secure the Site, to understand aggregate traffic, and to respond to you when you book a call or send us an email.

6. Data retention

We operate no databases for this website. Booking details live in Cal.com and in our business calendar and email for as long as needed for the engagement and for ordinary business records. Billing records held through Stripe and our accounting are retained as long as needed to provide our services and to meet tax and business-records obligations. Hosting and analytics logs are retained according to Vercel’s standard practices. You may email us to request deletion of your correspondence or booking records, subject to records we must keep by law.

7. Your choices and rights

You may email hello@epixstudios.com with any request to access or delete correspondence and booking records we hold about you, and we will respond as applicable law requires.

8. Where your information is processed

The Site is operated from and hosted in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so at your own choice, and the information described in this policy is processed in the United States.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a revised effective date.
